Japanese Feudal System
The Japanese feudal system is a lot like the European feudal
system, the emperor is the like the king he's in charge but over time the imperial council takes over and the emperor becomes a figurehead. The shogun was under the emperor they were military leaders and then came the daimyo that are like lords ruling a small part of japan. Then the samurai and ninjas are under the daimyo. The samurai are like knights they're warrior but the ninjas are assassins who are send to creep into castles and kill the person in charge which would mean the samurai would have to commit seppuku (suicide). Then under them are farmers, merchants and artisans farmer as you guessed it farm crops, artisan and craftsmen are people who made specialised items everyone needed but didn't desire to make or have. Merchants were the people who got all the jobs no one else wanted. Finally at the bottom was the eta they were just below the merchants.
